I (26F) thanked him (26M) verbally last night when dropped me off and let him know I’d see him again soon (I’m EMS and he’s fire I wasn’t assuming a second date). It went really well from my perspective. We were only supposed to go to dinner and ended up having a good time so we went for drinks somewhere else. He dropped me off at home after. I couldn’t hug him goodbye cause we were still in the car when this happened and I was carrying my to go box and purse so I just got out 😩 I wanted to hug him but it was gonna be so awkward with the positioning. He mentioned a few times, unprompted, during the date that he thinks it’s going very well. He also said he texted his sister that he is on a “really good date with a beautiful girl.” I’m probably overthinking but it’s 7 PM the next day and radio silence. My friend said I should wait at least until tomorrow night before I assume he changed his mind. Will kinda be disappointed if he doesn’t reach out cause he was a good guy who seemed like he would let you know one way or another but you never know ig.
