I recently got closer to a girl (edit: we work in the same team and see each other at work once or twice a week) and it was clear she was interested until I messed everything up.

We went on a date and, when I brought her back home, instead of kissing her or something, I told her I was in love with her (which is true, but it's too soon to be saying that). A few days later, we spoke and she told me she her feelings were more friendly to which I answered that I'm okay with friendship and I'll just move on romantically

Everything was going nicely and amicably until a few days ago when I offered to help her with a house move. She rejected and has been cold and distant since then

I talked about it with a girl and she told me that "I'm in love with you" so soon might look like love-bombing so it's a red flag and offering to help with a house move might look like a simp trying to force a date or a debt

In reality, I'm simply inexperienced and clumsy, I never had such a coup de foudre and I always offer to help my friends with house moves

Any suggestions to stop digging my own grave, salvage the friendship, or even salvage the romance?
