Im typing this off the top of my head sorry for inconsistency or stuff that might not make sense
I 17m am a senior in high school and im in an orchestra that different schools go to in my area. Theres a junior girl that joined three years ago that I never talked to for the time ive been in the orchestra because we are in different but overlapping friend circles. I wasn’t really interested in her until I talked to her early this year to ask about something random and she has this personality I was suddenly invested in. Even though im 2nd chair first violin and she is the first chair cello, and we sit next to each other ive only talked to her 3 times this year, only one being an actual conversation, just never really had anything to talk to her about. A month ago I followed her on insta and she followed back and liked my last post. I got intel from a friend that a guy from her school posted a picture with her and her arm around his hip, but she has no posts with him and they don’t have the usual couple stuff. Last week was our second to last rehearsal so I went to get a snack with a friend in the orchestra along with some others, and she happened to be there. Ill just say we had a lot of eye contact, I think I noticed her staring at me tho she didn’t talk at all in the groups conversation or maybe im delusional that could be it too. I have two problems with this, the first is mixed signals whether she is dating or not, and the other is that ill be 3 hours away in college in four months. This weekend is my last chance, is it worth asking her out?
