I am a guy that has been doing extensive research so that my girlfriend does not have to. We have been trying to have sex for a while, and it has always been painful for her in one way or another. Recently, she told me that it always burned a bit, so I got different condoms and lube.
We were using Trojan bareskin raw condoms and regular astroglide water based lube before. Then, I got skyn elite condoms and sliquid silk lube because I thought she might either have a latex allergy or an allergy to something in the astroglide.
We had sex last night with the new condoms and lube for the first time, and it was a lot better! She felt no burning, but still did feel a bit of physical pain (we think she is still getting used to it mentally and relaxing more, it has been getting better every time).
My concern is, I felt like I was putting the lube on the condom and it was drying while I was rubbing it on the condom. Like I was putting it on several times and it kept drying before I even put it in. Maybe I wasn’t using enough? I felt like I used a lot. With astroglide I really did not use much and it was very slippery for a while. And I used a lot more of the sliquid than the astroglide. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?
