I (F18) have been seeing and talking to a guy (M21) and it’s going well sex aside. There’s been some suggestive flirting between us, and I am completely open to the idea of us having sex, but I’m having a lot of anxiety about it as I have zero experience and he’s obviously a bit older than me and does have experience.
I’m really nervous about the expectations, and I can’t imagine a world where I just won’t freak out as it starts to happen. I don’t want it to be bad sex (even though I am well aware this is a common first time experience), and I want him to enjoy it. I’m scared of my bad intimacy compromising things, but also being up front about my virginity is not a conversation I am excited for and I don’t want it to ruin the fun. The age gap was also a slight issue for a little bit as I was freshly eighteen when we met (like I am talking days) and I feel like this could be the nail in the coffin.
What do I do!!! I want it to be a good experience for us both :’)
