My boyfriend and I have been together for about 4 months. Recently, I’ve noticed a big drop in our sexual intimacy. I’m usually the one initiating, but most of the time he turns me down or seems uninterested.
This has been happening consistently for the past few weeks, and it’s starting to make me feel rejected and confused. I don’t think it’s a major issue on its own, but it feels unusual given that our relationship is still relatively new.
Outside of this, our relationship is generally okay—he’s still affectionate in non-sexual ways, and we don’t have major conflicts.
My question is: What could be some possible reasons for a sudden decrease in sexual interest this early in a relationship, and how can I bring this up with him in a constructive way?
