My wife and I are traveling to Europe this June and landing in Split, Croatia on June 5. From there, we’re heading straight to Hvar the same day.
I’ve been looking into island hopping excursions, but honestly there are so many options online that it’s hard to figure out what’s actually worth it and reliable.
Ideally, we want to do a boat day exploring islands around Hvar and Korčula. I’m trying to decide between:
– private boat tour
– shared/group tour
– or renting a boat with a skipper
I’d love to hear from anyone who’s done this — is a private tour worth the extra cost compared to a shared one? Or is renting a boat with a skipper the better move?
Any recommendations on companies, tours, or how to book (online vs in person) would be super helpful too
