My boyfriend (27M) gets mad at me (22F) for what I wear.
One time I was wearing something athletic at Walmart and he said several guys looked at me. I just said “okay,” but later he said he’d rather I respond with nothing at all. He tells me that other people looking at me can be avoided if I wear something different.
The other night we went out and l forgot to close the women’s bathroom door behind me and this guy followed me in and my boyfriend got mad because I didn’t lock the door!!
Every time we go out he tells me to choose my boobs or stomach and I just don’t understand it. We will have a whole fight about it and I’ll end up changing.
I’ve started accepting it because I’m like maybe it’s a respect thing but the Walmart thing like?? It was athletic and we were going to Walmart.
Is this how relationships are? Do guys care about what we wear?
