Do people get annoyed when you reach out to them?
I met this person at work that I have no reason to believe we have anything but a great relationship. I really want to keep in communication with them, but I don’t always get to see them in person. So, I like to reach out by text message. Everytime I’ve ever reached out she’s responded very warmly and enthusiastically just like when we see each other in person. So I have no reason to think she gets annoyed if I reach out. But she has never once reached out to me. So, sometimes I wonder am I being annoying? I just want to maintain the connection.
This is a specific scenario but also in general sometimes I don’t reach out to people because I feel people might get annoyed if I reach out too frequently.
