I have been meeting new people in my work and social life for past couple of weeks. Usually the first interaction is solid, we crack jokes, the other person laughs and overall it cheers up the mood.
Even the second interaction goes okay. Problem arises when it's the third meet – I'm totally out of words and ideas and there are instances of absolute silence which I hate. Even though I share some of my personal life experiences, the other person would just one-word reply.
I've noticed a similar pattern during the chats. And if it's a girl I meet on Bumble or Reddit – oh boy – I pretty much have to carry the conversation.
The pattern has repeated so much that I think there's definitely something wrong with me. I'm at a constant thought that there's this invisible social pyramid and I'm pretty much at the base of it.
Any advice would be appreciated!
