Everything they send is either fake, recycled , staged or just plain predictable. Some are low brow stuff that maybe was funny when you were a teenager. But I'm almost 50!

And don't get me started on the friends who send you non-stop political posts.

I guess the older you get the more you realize "close friends" are no different than the hundreds of "acquaintances" we ignore every day. We ignore them because it takes too much effort to get to know them better. And if you get to know them better you realize they are idiots you should have just ignored!

  2. Some of my closest friends couldn’t have worse taste in memes. I love them dearly but so much of their vocabulary is just tik tok bits that are usually recycled as well. I usually ignore it to set the precedent that I’m really just not into that

  3. You sound like you don’t want that friend. Tell them what you said in this post and problem solved.

  4. Just tell them you arent into it. “Lol thanks for the stuff you send but I think we have very different tastes of humor.”.

    There’s no reason you have to enjoy the same stuff they do.

    If you believe they are an ‘idiot’ for liking something you dont, thats a separate matter.

  6. Just tell em, hey that stuff is cool, but it’s not my thing, can you stop including me?
