I’m a Brit and I feel embarrassed to say that I don’t know too much about the history of the country. I was recently walking past parliament with some foreign friends who asked me some deep questions about the history of Britain. Yes, we all studied history in school but all I seem to remember is the battle of Normandy and that Hastings was in 1066.
Can anyone recommend any good documentaries, books, shows etc so I can get up to speed. Appreciate any advice
