My (32) son is 4.5 and wife (32) and I are on the fence about having another. Having one kid has been tough due to both of us working and being drained at the end of the day. We want atleast one more kid because we also want a girl and for our son to have a companion growing up. When we got married we dreamed of having a big family. Yes, the early years will be difficult, but after they grow up and we're all sitting at the Thanksgiving dinner table discussing our lives, it feels worth it.
But having multiple kids with growing costs of daycare, college, life and lack of energy and a support "village" it seems like a pipe dream. Anyone else feel similar?
