Cheese popcorn is inarguably the best flavour of a popcorn. You guys have so many flavours of crisps, yet your popcorn selection is extremely sad. Waitrose recently expanded their selection to chili and sweet paprika. Do UK people not like cheddar popcorn? I need answers.

  1. Cheese popcorn doesn’t sound right at all πŸ˜… I didn’t even know it was a thing

  2. I love it. I love Smart Foods white cheddar popcorn particularly.
Crisps, corn snacks etc. are more popular though (except in cinemas?)

Edit: think the last I had was a sack of caramel AND cheese popcorn which was an adjustment but damn…

  3. We sell cheese and popcorn. I’m no chef but I suspect that you could combine these two things. You could even use real cheese.Β

  4. We have lots of cheeses and lots of cheese flavour things, popcorn gets a break.

  5. It’s incredibly sad, your best bet is buying seasoning online and make your own.
Trust me I feel you on this.

  6. It’s not great. It’s way too artificial and cheesy to me.

But you can buy the cheese flavouring/seasoning powder in a little shaker. Although I can’t remember where.

  7. Do you have large eastern european shop nearby? try your luck there if you have one. There is many in my town and i usually shop in biggest and they have many variety of brands from poland/latvia/lithuania with a lot of flavours (butter, cheese, chilli etc).

~~The goats cheese one is excellent too.~~ EDIT: they discontinued this flavour πŸ™

  9. I stayed for a period of time in America and loved the cheese popcorn. We just don’t have what i miss. It’s beautiful but the odd “posh” bag isn’t the same.

I look online but nothing that’s available comes close.

  10. Sounds yummy.

I think British people tend to prefer sweet popcorn but I love savoury so I think it sounds good

I’d just make my own popcorn and blitz some watsits and season with that, probably tastes like what you’re picturing!

  11. Wow all the bots are out today. “Cheese popcorn” “size of the UK” “tuna pasta”.

  12. There is a disappointing lack of it here. Joe and Sephs do a cheddar popcorn, but its on the pricier side. Proper Corn have a cheese flavour – bit weak but it fills a hole – think I have had from Waitrose before

  13. Walkers used to do some called Sundog and it was amazing. They stopped doing it years ago so I’m eagerly following along πŸ™‚
