I suspect the answer to this is going to vary on each airports own procedure as it did before EES (although there was a generally consensus in the approach with a few exceptions. Alicante, I’m looking at you) also, if this better suits another subs I’m open to suggestions.

I am a non EU spouse of an EU citizen. This has afforded me the luxury of going through the EU passport queue at European airports when we travel together. We usually have our son with us who is also an EU citizen.

With the advent of EES, I’m trying to establish whether I can continue to do that. I know that I still have to register with EES but if I go into the EU passport Q with my husband/child, do they have the ability to do the EES registration there? I have heard mixed responses and just trying to understand what the general practice being established is.

ETA: We are UK residents and I hold a British passport. Didn’t vote for the thing.
