I like watching bodycam/Car chases/CourtCams from the US (Shoutout La Crosse, WI) and I’ve noticed a couple things that I was curious about. Whenever there is a Spike Strip deployment it seems that majority of the police leave them/ throw them on the side of the road where they spiked and then just drive off. Do they come back and get them? Why do they Leave them? Also, do all the different police departments work together? It seems to be that whenever they follow a car and they hit the highway they say to contact Troopers or the highway police and then other times there’s Troopers/Sheriffs and normal Police all following 1 person, what’s the difference?
