Hi yall…. Here I am in this sub AGAIN lol for like the fifth time.
I’ve been seeing this guy who works as a bartender and was out with my friend for Valentine’s Day. we were at the bar up the road from him place so I invited him to come hang when he got off work.
My friend was quite drunk and got into an argument about whether or not a certain part of our metro area is racist (she’s Indian, he is white). Even though she was drunk I felt that he was talking down to her so I told him he was being rude. Like, I feel like as a white man he can’t speak on whether or not a certain area is racist.
He said he needed to use the restroom. 20 minutes later I called him and was sent to voicemail and I realized he fucking left. I genuinely feel absolutely humiliated and really just mortified. I’m honestly shocked. I feel like my friend shouldn’t have escalated but also him leaving was completely insane behavior, especially when he was talking down to her about racism. I’ve posted in this sub before because I’ve had so much trouble dating and men just never fail to surprise me!
