This happened to me in November. She kind of had a small vagina and I’m above average. She also had a copper chain iud put in relatively recently before that. I felt pain but kept going for a while for some reason. Thought maybe it was from the condom. Didn’t hurt at all after changing to a less-deep angle.
Found a small but subtle reddish mark to the right of my urethra the next day where the pain was during sex. Never a blister and never crusted. No burning, itching, tingling etc.
The discoloration expanded a bit but I guess that’s normal for a minor mechanical tear. Saying all that because I’d like to rule out an std since it didn’t seem compatible with any (had a nurse friend examine it too and said the same). Anyway, that area had been scarred the last couple months but I’d continued using it 👀.
It’s January now and while it had seemed mostly healed, I guess the area had kept being tender and now it seems easily affected. Especially recently with more than average activity. I must have taken off the top layer of healing skin because it feels slightly hardened like skin does when it’s healing. Again, no clusters, blisters, oozing, pain, burning, etc.

Red / non-std looking red mark and discoloration after repeatedly contacting an iud during sex. Taking forever to fully heal.
I know this isn’t a medical subreddit but I guess I’m just wondering if anyone had experienced the same. How long did it take to heal?
