I’m 26F, London-based, working full time, earning around £40k and currently living at home. I’ve been financially disciplined since graduating and have built up savings, and I’m fairly career-focused. I am currently worth £32k in LISA/ISA.

What I’m struggling with isn’t money itself, but finding people at a similar life stage and socioeconomic position. Most people I meet fall into one of two camps:

  • still very financially precarious / short-term focused but around my age, or
  • much older, already settled with property/family.

I don’t mean this in a judgmental way — it just makes it hard to relate on goals, lifestyle choices, or long-term planning. I’m interested in career progression, investing, personal development, and building a stable future.

For people in their mid-20s to early-30s in the UK:

  • Where did you actually meet peers who felt “on your wavelength”?
  • Was it work, hobbies, professional networks, something else?
  • Are there spaces (online or offline)?

Genuinely curious how others navigated this, especially in London where everything feels very polarised.

EDIT: I know what I achieved isn't a miracle but where to meet others with similar achievements?
