I (early 30s male) matched with a woman (a little older) and we hit it off or at least did so ostensibly. She kept asking me about my job, and I happily shared without going too much into detail. I noticed that I kept talking about myself and didn’t know much about her. Since she did not have any career information listed on her profile or much of anything other than enjoying traveling and being a foodie, I asked her what she did for work. I wasn’t trying to pry or anything, but since we were talking about me for an entire day, I figured it was appropriate for me to learn more about her. I wasn’t expecting a lengthy answer. I just wanted to know what field or industry she was in. Not long after, she unmatched. I’m not sure if she did so because she felt some kind of bias against my line of work (I’m in law) or because I asked her about her career. For all I know, it could be anything. I’m just curious to know if anyone else went through this.
