I randomly received an Instagram request a few days back. I didn’t accept it for 1–2 months, but then one day I impulsively accepted it because he was from the same caste, so I thought he might be someone familiar whom I didn’t remember.
I had a conversation with him and then got to know that he liked my profile picture, and since we were from the same caste, he sent me a request. The conversation continued, he started flirting, and I took it casually.
But then one day he confessed that he likes me and asked me out on a date. It’s been 3–4 months now, and I still haven’t met him, but now I think I’ve also developed feelings for him. I’m afraid that I’ll get attached, and if this doesn’t work out, I’ll end up getting hurt.
I haven't dated anyone before so going into a long distance relationship is a crazy idea to think for me.
Should I go and meet him? Any advice on what I should do?
