Hey everyone,
I’m a 16-year-old guy and I have a weird problem that I hope some of you can relate to or help with.
In real life, I’m actually pretty good with girls. I’m confident, I can hold conversations, make them laugh, read the vibe, and flirting feels natural. Talking face to face isn’t an issue for me at all.
But as soon as it comes to texting (Instagram, WhatsApp, Snapchat), I completely lose it.
I never really know:
• what to text
• how to keep a conversation going
• when I sound too dry
• when I might be texting too much
• how fast I should reply
Most conversations end up feeling like an interview:
“What are you doing?”
“How was your day?”
“Haha yeah”
And then… dead silence. 💀
No flow, no vibe — nothing like real life.
It honestly feels like my personality just doesn’t come through over text. I overthink every message and end up sounding boring or forced, even though I’m not like that in person.
So my question is:
How do you text girls in a way that feels natural and fun, and actually shows your personality?
Any tips on keeping conversations alive without forcing them?
