As the title says, I currently live 20 hours away from my dad and I don’t think I can swing a flight ticket for his birthday in a few weeks. This would obviously be my preferred gift but I was laid off for half the year, so it’s a harder financial ask… My dad never asks for anything besides tools and jerky, and hates spending money. If there’s something he wants, he’ll just buy it himself if the price is right, otherwise no one ever hears about the other stuff lol. Last year I bought him a meat box from one of the online shops for Father’s Day and he loved that, but I don’t want to just do the same thing. Any recommendations? He fishes, has an Apple Watch, works in construction so wouldn’t particularly wear or want anything super fancy. I just want to give him something that would make him happy.
