I'm 28 turning 29 later this year. I guess you could say I'm lost in life with no true direction or "career". I'm depressed, single, unemployed (for 15 months now) and sober!

I'm struggling to see a life where I will be happy and content with my line of work. I had tried college but couldn't focus due to adhd and other factors including family dynamic. It feels as if the opportunities are dwindling/nonexistent

Over the past 15 months I've applied to 500+ jobs. Jobs I have experience in (customer service, property management) and entry level jobs (warehousing, production line, etc) Ive had 4 interviews. No success. The world is just crazy in 2026.

I guess what I want to know is if there are any guys out there who don't have a college degree, really struggled with life in their 20s, and were able to find happiness and success after 30. What did you do? Where did you go? How? Why? When and WHO?
