I’m 36 and gay and my “sometimes sorta bf” is 37 and gay as well. The quotation is his. That’s how he sees us. Furthermore, he DEMANDS celibacy. So we’re sorta boyfriends who don’t live together or have sex (with each other or anyone else).
I don’t know why I’ve dealt with this for a year. How do I get out? We don’t live together. It’s as simple as a conversation but he’s my best friend otherwise and I don’t know how to enter this conversation. I don’t even know if I want to be friends. He vacillates between being sweet and understanding and being a judgmental asshole. I have my own issues as well, but damn.
