I recently met a new guy and we had an instant connection both physically and emotionally to each other. After a while of talking, we got intimate for the first time and it was kind of out of no where (no foreplay or anything, it seemed like he was trying to rush it). It was still good, and I just wrote it off as him probably being nervous. Fast forward to now; we hangout a few times a week, he’s super touchy and romantic, but as soon as things start to get intimate he seems to shy away from it. He expresses quite often that he’s a pretty horny guy, and he’s very confident and extroverted in every aspect of his life except for when we’re being intimate. He’ll usually initiate and touch me for a while, but as soon as I start trying to touch him or start a make out sesh he’ll just stop. I always ask what he’s thinking to try and gauge the mood, and he’ll usually redirect the convo to something random. I’ve asked if there’s anything I’m doing wrong or if there’s something I should do more of and he never expresses any concerns… is this a common thing for dudes? Maybe he’s just super nervous? I’m not sure how to help or what to do. We’ve both had multiple previous sexual partners and so I’m confused on why he would be nervous.
