Good evening all 🙂
I live in a small tourist city in the UK, so there are visitors everywhere. I often see people taking photos and selfies, and I get asked quite regularly to take pictures for others.
This happened again today. A lone traveller asked me to take a photo and I was happy to help. But I also often notice families or bigger groups clearly struggling to get a nice photo together, yet they don’t usually ask anyone nearby.
It made me wonder what the general etiquette is in the UK when it comes to offering to take photos for strangers. Is it seen as polite or helpful, or more awkward or intrusive? Do people prefer to ask rather than be offered?
Just curious what people’s thoughts are 🙂
