My wife casually mentioned she’s had a Nuru massage before and really enjoyed it… so of course now I want to recreate that experience for her at home

My main concern is the setup. Nuru gel looks insanely slippery, and everything I’ve seen online makes it look like a full-on splash zone. Most people seem to use inflatable mattresses, but we’ve done sensual oil massages on our regular bed before with just towels and it stayed pretty under control.
For those who’ve done it: how did you prep the bed? Waterproof sheets? Extra towels? Floor setup instead? I want it to be fun and messy in the right way, not “ruined mattress” messy
