Good morning, all.

I recently purchased an escooter for travelling too and from work to save money on having to purchase a second car.

When it came, I had changed my mind and have decided I don't want to risk worrying about the police, or coming off it and getting injured (I've decided that I'll a bike through cycle to work scheme).

I emailed the company and said that it was purchased and I have now changed my mind and that I'd like to return it. They have taken 3 days to email me saying this (see attached).

Charging nearly £200 to return the scooter surely can't be right, can it? I understand shipping fees need to be paid, but I'm curious as to whether they are fleecing me or whether it is legal?

Thank you for any advice!
