I’m a Canadian and planning to visit the UK in May for 3 weeks. Itinerary is something like
LGW -> Oxford -> Leeds -> Hull -> Derby -> London
I’m wondering whether to book my ticket to have a checked bag + carry-on + backpack or carry-on + backpack only.
I’d go with the former but my main concern is if the trains/buses allow for all the baggage. I believe EMR, CrossCountry, ThamesLink, Northern Rail, Oxford Tube seem to be okay with it, but let me know if I’m missing anything or if there’s something I haven’t considered.
I could probably fit the backpack inside either the checked bag or carry-on if anything.
