Hi all. Straight to the point. Recently met this girl online who seems really cool. She is gorgeous, has a great career, has her own place but doesn’t have a great family dynamic, but from what I’ve been told, I don’t think it is her fault.
Basically, she lives an hour away from me and over the festive period was away visiting her grandfather who lives even further away from me. On Monday, she came home early and we had our first date. The date was at my house, where I cooked dinner and we literally just chatted for hours on end. She did spend the night and we did have sex, however I did not finish inside of her.
She left my house on Tuesday morning and I did not hear from her again until Wednesday afternoon. She casually dropped it on me that she is being sent away for work for three months half way across the world and when she told me this she was already at the airport getting ready to fly. You can imagine how much of a surprise this was to me. But anyway, she has basically professed to me that she acknowledges that we’ve only met once but that I’m the one she wants to be with.
We have briefly chatted today (I am under the assumption she is 8 hours behind me) but she has mentioned that she is willing to quit her job, come home and be close to me. This all seems a bit much considering we have only met once. She has also stated that I am to expect a package to be delivered to my house on Monday at some point.
As the title suggests, am I being love bombed here? It all seems a bit crazy. However, I also acknowledge that if your bar is low and you meet somebody you feel might be worthwhile, you might do crazy things. Her bar doesn’t seem high so I am wondering if that is the case. Something just seems off though.
Any advice or comments would be appreciated as I am feeling slightly uneasy about this. She is absolutely beautiful, our chat is unreal, it does feel easy… but I don’t know.
