I 25F have gone out on 2 dates with this guy 26M from hinge. The dates have gone well, nothing too crazy but nevertheless were really nice. Ever since we started texting on hinge, we've texted every day. He asked me out on the 1st date but suggested something I had already planned on doing with one of my girlfriends, so I told him I'd get back to him and suggest where to go myself. So he asked, but then I kinda ended up planning it. Like 2 days after the 1st date I asked him out. At this point it seems natural that he should ask for a 3rd date ( I know these things don't actually matter, these are all just dumb rules, but I'd love for him to ask me out and properly suggest a place for once, but, at the end of the day, I'm not against asking him again for us to hang out). What's funny is he'll text me good morning and good night on his own even if I try not to text him purposefully to see if he actually wants to text. He seems really interested in me, he's cute, compliments me.. so I don't understand what's taking so long. I understand we were all with our families during these past holidays but now seems like it'd be the perfect time. We last hung out December 23rd and it's now January 4th. Also, we were once talking about what I was doing with my friendsa couple of days ago and I joked that we were chatting about him and talking sh1t. He laughed and said he expected that. Then proceeded to ask if he could know what we had talked about and I told him "oh, you know, we talked about how I got to know you, if we went on any dates, if we're texting" and then I sprinkled in " we talked about why you're not asking me out" and so on. He joked "was that last message a hint I'm supposed to take" and, I told him that's truly what we had talked about and it's simultaneously also a useful way to give him the hint he should ask me out. He said "hahaha message received". HAS. NOT. YET. ASKED. ME. OUT. WHAT IS GOING ON? He really seems interested, he's just not doing this ONE thing.
