I got married in 2013 to my lovely husband, and had a lovely expensive dress for it. It is now cluttering up our flat, I’m never going to wear it again (quite a bit thinner these days so it would never fit) and it seems absurdly wasteful to throw it away. I’m a little bit sentimental about it too so would like it to either go to someone who would use it again (even if as a prop for theatre or something) or recycle for a good cause.
I’ve tried googling it but can’t find anything suitable. It’s in very good condition (was cleaned and mended straight after the wedding and has been stored in perfect conditions in an archiving box).
I’m in London, so would need to be somewhere in the city. r/asklondon isn’t allowing this post, so asking here instead.
