First of all, I apologize for any spelling/grammatical mistakes. English is not my first language. Also, I don't know in which other subreddit I could ask this, so I apologize if this post doesn't belong here.

For some context, me and GF have been in a long distance relationship for nearly two years now. I'm in Mexico, I've lived here my whole life, and she moved to the United States almost three years ago, legally, but she's from Venezuela.

She's a legal resident, she's hardworking, does her taxes and lives by the rules (I'm explaining this so people won't come after her for 'exploiting America'' or something else).

She has her passport, her visa and her green card.
We had plans of her visiting me when we first started our relationship, but then with the whole ICE thing and everything, we didn't want to put her family on the spot over a trip, and we still don't want to.

I'm about to start a new job so I can get my and my family's Visa, so she travels in-country and not outside of it.

The thing is, this will cost money, it's pretty expensive. And following our initial plan, it'd be easier for her to visit me. But we're not sure if she can travel to Mexico safely, with guaranteed re-entry into the USA.

Has anyone been through a similar situation, or have any advice? I don't want to move to the USA btw, I just want to visit her a few days and then go back to my country legally. We are devastated by the persecution of immigrants, and we are afraid to put her family at risk.

TLDR; Girlfriend is an immigrant and wants to know if safe travel is possible without putting her family at risk.
