I just went to go stay at a mate’s for the week last week. He refused to stick the heating any higher than 17°, saying that any higher wasn’t needed. I meanwhile was sat there quite literally shivering most nights and I’ve developed some kind of illness likely due to it.
This isn’t about being tight- he has money. Plus I even offered to chip in if it was the difference between having heating on or not. We’re both from the south, although he now lives up north, and although he may be more used to colder weathers than I, I need to know if I’m just being particular as he’s told me I was just being ridiculous.
What is ‘too cold’ in a house? And am I just being dramatic?
