Context: Just moved into a 1930s house, last renovated approx 1993. This is in a lean-to that's on the back of the garage (so thos wouldve been outside originally?). Not sure how we didn't spot it when viewing, or how the surveyor missed it.
It appears to be a galvanised steel cylinder / tube that goes into the ground. It's concreted all around and filled with concrete too. The parasol base next to it is about 50cm diameter.
Anyone know what it is? Looking to remove it but have no idea what we'd be getting ourselves into, nor what sort of tradespeople we'd need.
