Me (24f) and my husband (26m) have been together for about 6 years and married for 4 of those. Every year I get nothing for my birthday or Christmas or our anniversary, usually. And if I'm lucky enough to get something its usually like a cheap 5 or 10 dollar necklace off of tiktok. Only once has my husband actually made my birthday feel special and asked me what I wanted and actually got it. But I make every holiday , birthday, and anniversary feel special for him. I sit by and watch everyone else in his family get showered in gifts from him. Sometimes I feel like its not fair and other times I feel like I'm not allowed to be upset or disappointed because my husband calls me childish. And I just dont know what to do?
