Does anyone else deal with their husband being overly uptight, tense and controlling of the kids around family? I’ve had an ongoing issue with my husband since having kids where he visibly doesn’t like our kids having a relationship or interacting with any of my family members. For example, our 10 month old daughter is eating avocado and banana in her high chair and he’s annoyed and making comments to me about how messy she’s being “because there’s too much going on when people talk to her” he literally thinks that my sisters talking to her and the reason a 10 month old is making a mess while eating in her high chair….
It feels like he’s obsessive with having control of them around family it’s so annoying. Im definitely NOT a pass the baby around an do whatever type of mom but he just takes it over the top with his need for control over these tiny situations. I feel like I’m doing something that’s a problem to him by just letting my own parents even hold her.
What are your thoughts on this or can anyone offer perspective?
