My OH and I were out cycling on Christmas Day, as that's our preferred way of spending the day.
We noticed there were far more cars on the road than we've witnessed before on Christmas Day. At various points, it was rush hour traffic-type levels of cars. I appreciate that people are working that day, people travelling to visit friends/family, people travelling somewhere to go for a walk (or ride) and people who don't celebrate who have places they may be driving to. Despite that, it seemed a lot higher than in previous years.
It was nice to see lots of people enjoying the outdoors, though, again, far higher than I've seen in previous years.
Those of you out driving, where were you going?
Did anyone else notice a higher amount of traffic than usual, too?
However you spent your day, I hope it was a good one!
