So I’ve been seeing this guy off and on for awhile. I really like him because he’s easy to take to and we’ve known eachother for almost 10 years now (off and on).
Last night I was having some friends over but told him he could come over once they leave. He then kept flip flopping between the subject and not giving me a straight answer so I just said “yes or no” (mind you he’s usually always the one to initiate things).
I told him I was going to shower and he asked if he could think about it while I showered. – because he had some drinks but when I asked too many he said no) then asked me to pick him up. Honestly I should have just stopped there and gave up.
He then said he had to talk to his mom for half an hour and I was pretty frustrated at this point because
I told him I’d taken my sleeping pill and it takes
About an hour to kick in.
Anyway I was waiting 20 mins and he told me he was waiting on me. So I drove there (20mins) by the time I got there he didn’t answer at all. So eventually I drove home. I was upset but just went to bed.
This morning he messaged me that he fell asleep and was really sorry, and said it was disrespectful of him. I just said “yeah I don’t really know what to say” and I still don’t.
Side note if you’ve read this far: all his messages were very sexualized the entire time. I don’t know if that matters
Am I stupid to continue this or was it an honest mistake?
