This is a long standing issue and honestly I feel incredibly dense for not figuring out the reason for this, nothing seems like it's a good enough answer in either of our opinions cause I dont think im dumb enough just to forget as soon as im asked, but here's the context: my wife has chronic migraines, ive known this the whole time we've been together, and there are some days (more than others) that when they have a migraine were out and about and dont have any meds on us, either they didnt bring their perscription stuff or were all out of excedrin in the car, at 6pm today they say they're getting a headache, we have to go get hair bleach for their hair, so they say they'd like to drive around a little then go pick up the bleach, then they ask to go get papers printed from the library, both of the libraries we go to are closed but luckily the library next to the cvs we needs to pick up the rx meds at is open, after I print out the papers I get back to the car and ask what we should do now and they say we should probably door dash more and I say don't you want to bleach your hair? They say no I'll need my headache gone before working on cutting and bleaching my hair, I say okay and turn on a doordash session and get an order instantly, now they're upset that we have to wait for the meds again, this is only from my perspective so there's a whole other side of context that is not on here but i see where the misunderstanding tonight happened so I just am chalking it up to me being forgetful or not processing the interaction correctly but it was a dumb answer, I was told "you're not dumb and im not calling you dumb but you're too smart to be making this same mistake over and over again like this and you never have a good reason why" : and I genuinely dont know the reason it happens like this, I dont want to just say oh it's situational or blame it on being forgetful but surely there's a actually tangible reason this same occurrence happens like it does? I am autistic and have adhd but that's not an excuse for why I neglect or fail to act when getting meds for headaches or a thick drink to take them with. Kinda just venting my personal frustration out with this one but if anyone has any good advice for how to be more proactive with getting the meds sooner rather than later in this context would be appreciated, feel free to ask clarifying questions
