Sorry, not sure why I am posting. I just need to vent. Likely at the end of a 20+ relationship. I agreed to go to marriage counseling as a last ditch effort and I admit I have enjoyed the process.
But….it just isn’t taking. One of our issues is communication. She is always too busy too talk. Puts it off and puts it off until I get so pent up.
Counseling has led us to determine that we need set “check-in times”. Where barring some emergency we make time to check in with each other.
We left counseling on Monday and we set a checkin for 9:00 pm Monday night. Our first one. At 8:45 she informed me she was going Christmas shopping. So…???
Sorry I am just venting. This is a small issue in a relationship that has a mountain full of issues.
We have a dead bead room but if we can’t even talk I have no hope of even beginning to discuss that.
