My dad needs an ultrasound scan of his legs due to pain from varicose veins but they want him to go to the A&E to get it checked out asap. But my dad doesn't want to wait in the A&E and it's not that urgent either (i believe they think it could be DVT). Is there any repercussions to saying the A&E turned him away or can i just get him to be firm and ask for an ultrasound scan?
