I haven’t had any dental work done since I was about 13 and that was on the NHS so I’m totally out of touch with how much things cost now. Earlier this week one of my fillings fell out right before Christmas and then I started getting some pretty bad toothache.
I go to the dentist twice a year and I’m on a dental plan with them. I think I pay around £12 a month which covers six monthly check ups and a clean and polish and I’m supposed to get a discount on any work. They managed to squeeze me in on Christmas Eve which I really appreciated.
They did an X ray and replaced the filling and all in it came to £105. They used a white filling instead of the old silver one and honestly I can’t even tell where it is anymore.
Just wondering if this sounds about right price wise or if it’s considered expensive or cheap these days?
