My ex and I were together for about 6 months prior to our break. This was only my second relationship and the first one was shorter, he's been in 2 long term. He took me out the other night for dinner and drinks, ended up asking for an official break because we've honestly been arguing for about 3 of those 6 months and he keeps flipping between us being together or not (admittedly kinda same). When he brought me back home. I bawled my eyes out after the fact because this one was so clearly real but understood.
He continued texting the day after and so I stupidly invited him out for brunch & drinks tomorrow morning. He called me right now to just yap I guess and asked what I was doing for New Year's, I told him that my friends and I had last minute planned something in Vegas. Two of the people going with us are 2 husbands that are a bit older than us (28-29). He lost his mind, claiming they were trying to be sugar daddies. I told him that my friends and I were paying our own way. He says it was still incredibly disrespectful because he thought I had no money right now and that's why he took me out, little did he know that I was apparently scheming and planning for this very last minute trip.
Canceled brunch and told me to never speak to him again. From all perspectives, did I really do something bad?
