Looking to rekindle the sex life more. Basically all we do is the same old stuff. I’m more on the bashful side because I have zero self confidence. He’s basically willing to do anything I ask of him. I can only let loose if I’m tipsy. But I was wondering if anyone has tried the subscription boxes? I have seen Arya boxes advertised but I don’t know if they are actually fun or if they are lame and if the reviews are incentivized. Anyone have any insight on any fun boxes?

Hi there! I’ve not tried “adult” subscriptions but purchased a wine subscription and subscription boxes for my children. I find there’s usually one quality item and a bunch of cluttery junk thrown in as filler. It doesn’t live up to the ideal.
Have you ever tried MojoUpgrade? It’s in this sub’s wiki. Effectively, you and your partner take a blind survey where you list Yes/No/Maybe to a bunch of sex acts. At the end, it returns your shared result and keeps the rest of the items private. Very fun
I’ve never done a subscription box, but if you’ve not ever visited a sex toy shop with your partner I encourage you to go together. Give yourselves a small shopping list: “Lube, eye mask, dildo, vibrator” and use that as an excuse to browse around and look at *everything.*
If you get all wound up thinking about the possibilities of every set of cuffs, novelty feather wand, edible bra, and book you see then yeah- I guess a subscription box might be fun for you? Not everyone has a toy shop close by, and the subscription box seems like a very low-stakes option if you’re curious to have a box of novelties to play with.
