Hey everyone,

My girlfriend and I are celebrating our first anniversary, and since we’re both homebodies, I want to do something cozy and meaningful rather than going out.

She absolutely loves Tangled, so I’m planning to recreate the floating lantern scene in her room. Her ceiling is very high (second floor) and shaped kind of like the inside of a tower or pyramid roof, so I think it could look really magical if done right.

My plan is: • Hang around 20 paper lanterns from the ceiling that glow softly (LED, no fire). • Set the bed up to feel like the “boat” in the scene. • Make dinner and then watch Tangled together with the lanterns lit.

What I’m mainly looking for advice on: • Where can I buy decent-quality glowing paper lanterns suitable for indoor use? • Any tips for hanging lanterns safely from a tall ceiling? • Has anyone done something similar, or have suggestions to make this look better?

I want it to feel romantic and immersive without being unsafe or cheaply done. Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

TL;DR; : I want to recreate the Tangled floating lantern scene indoors for my first anniversary using ~20 LED paper lanterns in a room with a very tall ceiling, and I’m looking for advice on where to buy them and how to hang them safely. Is this going the right way?
