My partner attended the West Glamorgan Institute of Higher Learning, which was under the U of Wales. She had to leave due to illness in 1989. She later completed her degree through the Open U.

A decade ago and change she joined me in my country, and she has decided she wants to pursue a higher degree. In my country, admission to a Masters is contingent on being able to document sufficient credits form relevant subjects at an undergraduate level.

This is not included in her Open U diploma, most of her classes and their grades were with the WGIHL.

The WGIHL has been through a series of fusions and today is part of Trinity. We have tried to get a copy of her records from them. Initially that seemed straightforwards, but after looking for 5 months they gave up and refunded out money.

I've kind of run out of investigation-fu here. Is there a next step?

A public body with records, a specialist in searching etc? Anything?
