What’s a weird song from your country that was at one point popular?

  1. I don’t think [“Hvorfor har du bukser på?”](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EYAvPlfz88c&pp=ygUZaHZvcmZvciBoYXIgZHUgYnVrc2VyIHDDpQ%3D%3D) (Why have you got pants on?) really qualifies as widely popular, but it certainly got played at parties I went to while in high school (which typically involve copious amounts of alcohol, so I do mean parties). As the title suggests, it’s a guy running around pantless and asking why on earth others are wearing pants

Many shubidua songs have rather silly lyrics and are generally quite popular and liked. Given the season, one example could be [“rap jul”](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=S9WLywQrDnc&pp=ygUHcmFwIGp1bA%3D%3D) (quacky christmas), which is sung from the perspective of a duck imploring people to consider what christmas is like for ducks (roasted duck is a traditional dish for christmas)

  2. As someone from Denmark, I was surprised to find out that the children’s song [Pilfingerdansen](https://youtu.be/7dg9MoTr1Ag?feature=shared) suddenly had gotten popular in The Netherlands a few years back.

The song is in Danish (although it doesn’t contain a lot of lyrics) and is from the 90’s. How it got popular in NL baffles me (but I think it was because the lyrics sounded like something about stealing pills for a Dutch person).
