I get maybe once in a blue moon someone will do some “what the fuck was that” thing where you think they’re dumb. However I hear so many people saying stuff like “ oh you don’t have to be smart to be a nurse/mechanical engineer I know so many dumb ppl in those jobs” or they constantly go on about how stupid everyone is and I wonder if they just have some massive superiority complex and/or have a very narrow mindset on how an intelligent person acts.
Once a guy thought I was stupid because I was bad at fishing and didn’t know what a manual car was. People did come to my defense saying not everyone had the same interests, but it really got me thinking, do people really just view others as dumb if they’re less knowledgeable about a topic they’re interested in?
